Liquid Metal, 8 metallic colors with an isopropyl alcohol-based formulation, offer an exceptionally realistic finish with a high gloss. They dry quickly and can be mixed together to obtain different shades. We recommend using only isopropyl alcohol to dilute the colors and also to clean your brushes or airbrush.
Vallejo Mecha Color is a easy-to-use acrylic water-based airbrush paint, which can be diluted with water, alcohol or thinners for use with airbushing. It is designed for use for specialised mecha or gunpla model kits, with a full range from high saturation gloss primary colours to a wide selection of chipping and weathering effect. Tough finish, quick drying.
Premium is a range of acrylic colors specifically designed for airbrushing and for optimum adherence on surfaces such as fiberglass, polyethylene, polycarbonate, metal and Lexan. Premium has been formulated with permanent pigments and a new, extremely resistant hybrid resin of acrylic-polyurethane. The Premium range contains matt and opaque, transparent, metallic, and fluorescent colors, and includes the specific varnishes and auxiliary products of the product line. Premium is especially recommended for painting motorcycle helmets, fuel tanks, surfboards and similar surfaces exposed to hard wear, and resists impacts and cracking as well as direct exposure to heat. The Premium colors resist fuel residue proof (as used in RC) ofup to at least 35% Nitro. It is recommended to apply Premium in successive layers on previously primed surfaces. A few hours after application, the Premium colors will form a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance. The recommended compressor settings are around 15-20 PSI, o 0.5 to 1 kg. For a final, especially resistant protection, a final (2K) urethane varnish is recommended (applied by aerosol or airbrush). Painting tools can be cleaned with water.
Premium colors have been formulated with micronized, permanent pigments and an extremely resistant, exterior grade hybrid resin-polyurethane base, which withstands impacts, resists chipping and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat and outdoor elements without cracking or fading, and is fuel residue proof up to a least 35% Nitro.
Liquid Mask is used to reserve areas which are to remain unpainted, especially in airbrush techniques, but also with watercolors and temperas. The product forms a protective film on the area which the artists does not want to paint. Once the work is dry, liquid mask is rubbed off with an eraser or piece of cloth, revealing the unpainted area.

It is recommended to apply the Mecha colors in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colors will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance. Mecha Color can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colors can also be applied by brush. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 – 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Water-based polyurethane varnish formulated with the most recently developed resin. This varnish has the superior resistance of polyurethane and the ease of application of water-based products. U.V. Resistant.
Permanent, quick drying varnish and gloss finish. Formula 100% acrylic with UV resistance. Can be apply with airbrush or varnishing brush. It is recommended to apply two coats of varnish, with an interval of at least 4 hours. Quick drying Varnish can be diluted with water if desired.
Heavy paste of resin, titanium white and natural pumice, with a rough white finish, for surface building and irregular terrain, reliefs and peak.
