Modelling Primer

  • A rich purple suited for a multitude of purposes. Perfect for Tyranids, Dark Elves, Dark Eldar, any Chaos and also to spice up ordinary races - like humans - Imperial Guard or Empire. Purple is not a standard colour and therefore it will make your army highly unique and striking to behold.
  • Wolf Grey is a beautiful greyish blue colour, perfect for Space Wolves or Urban fatigues, furs, monsters or as a great alternative to blue. This colour will work exceptionally well with Strong Tone or Dark Tone Quickshade.
  • Crystal Blue is a light and nice crisp blue perfect for especially High Elves, but is also the colour for all Lizardmen. Try it on Tau, Eldar, Imp. guards or for instance Tzeentch Demons or Chaos Warriors! It has many uses and looks extremely good with any Quickshade especially Quickshade Dark Tone.
  • This Colour Primer has a clear and crisp colour and is imminent for Space Marines, Daemons, Eldar, Lizards, Dragons or any army with a striking colour scheme. We advice a Soft Tone or Strong Tone Quickshade for maximum result.
  • This spray is a very dark and deep red and is the ultimate basecoat for those Blood Angels, Khorne Bezerkers or any Khorne Daemons, Dragons or Warmachine Khador. Can be combined with Quickshade Dark Tone for a menacing and brooding look.
  • A truly unique spray. It has the look of hardened steel yet still being so matt that other acrylic paints cover it perfectly. This spray has endless uses and anything in armour craves an undercoat of this fantastic Colour Primer - saving you loads of time! Prod.
  • As the name suggests, this Colour Primer is great for historical miniatures representing armed forces. But also Wood Elves and futuristic models, for instance, would look great with this colour, as well as plague daemons of all origins.
  • The Gun Metal spray is the latest installment in the successful line of Colour Primers from The Army Painter. The Gun Metal is a rich and dark metal and is nothing but the perfect basecoat for Knights and dark Sci-Fi & Fantasy. Especially vehicles will benefit tremendously from this spray ? and a worn and battle scarred look is easily achieved by applying Warpaints colours onto the matt surface. We recommend Quickshade Dark Tone or the Warpaints Dark Tone Wash for the perfect shading.
  • This spray is ideal for wood (warmachines and Chariots), leather and brown skin and fur. Also use for great effect on horses, wolves, Beastmen and Minotaurs for instance. This spray coupled with Quickshade Dark Tone makes for great Zulu warriors with lots of exposed skin - saving you many hours of base coating!
  • A Colour Primer originally designed for WWII desert vehicles and uniforms. This spray is also very popular for scenery, horses, wolves, Beastmen, skaven and even light wood on warmachines and chariots. Could be used for a slightly darker variation of skin colour on miniatures with exposed flesh. Combine with Quickshade Strong Tone for perfect results!
  • The Aegis Suit Satin Varnish will protect any tabletop or roleplaying miniature & model from the wear and tear of the battlefield. Unlike the Anti Shine Matt Varnish developed for Quickshade, the Aegis Suit will leave a slight satin finish on your models and is ultra protective on any acrylic surface. Protect the paint work you have painstakingly put into your models by using this high-quality satin varnish: the Aegis Suit will not let you or your models down.
  • This acrylic varnish is truly unique and has been tailored to remove the shine of any models being dipped with Quickshade or painted using conventional paints. Although really matt, the sprays original formula retains the metallic shine from Plate Mail etc. Always let the Quickshade dry for minimum 48 hours before using this varnish and apply it in a thin coat. Never spray in humid conditions and cold weather. Test on a model first before spraying the whole army.
