Coming in April, Quarter Century Stampede will be your last chance to get some of your all-time favorite cards as Quarter Century Secret Rares before this spectacular, shining rarity is gone forever. This direct successor to Quarter Century Bonanza uses its same set and pack configuration, including a core set of more than 80 tournament-level cards, another massive 200-card nostalgia reprint pool, and a guaranteed Luxury Secret Rare per pack, etc. But this time, the nostalgia pool includes picks from our recent online poll asking Duelists which cards THEY want to see as Quarter Century Secret Rares. Just like the previous 4 Rarity Collections (counting Quarter Century Bonanza & Quarter Century Stampede), Rarity Collection 5 revolves around an approximately 80-card set that’s chock full of today’s hottest tournament-level cards, plus some old favorites. From Chaos Angel to Kashtira Fenrir, from Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade to Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation, and many, many, more, this is the best chance you’ll have at getting today’s meta-relevant cards for your Decks. In each 5-card pack, 4 slots pull from that main card pool, in a variety of rarities, from the normal Super, Ultra, and Secret Rares, to Starlight, Platinum Secret, and the unique “Prismatic”-style Ultimate & Collector’s Rares found only in Rarity Collection sets. And, like Quarter Century Bonanza & Quarter Century Stampede, the 5th card in each pack comes from a different card pool than the rest of the pack. But this time, each 5th card is one of dozens of new variant art cards. Most Rarity Collection 5 variant art cards have little catch phrases like you’d use in a messaging app, some in English, some in Japanese, plus the card arts have been adjusted with new backgrounds, highlights, added elements, and zoom-ins. Obtain twice as many Ultra & Secret Rares per pack in the 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II! Last year’s 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection blew everyone’s socks off, so we started work on a sequel right away. In order to get it out as fast as we can, we’ve made some changes to the configuration while leaving all the good stuff (and value!) intact. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II packs have twice as many Ultra & Secret Rares per pack, which gives you twice as many chances at “luxury rares” per pack (Quarter Century Secret Rares, “Prismatic”-style Ultimate & Collector’s Rares, and Platinum)! We’ve cut back on the packaging, so there will be fewer packs you’ll need to open (and fewer foil wrappers to throw away) to get the same number of the cards you’re looking for. (And with double the cards per pack, about two-thirds of packs should have at least one “luxury rare” this time, and around a third should have more than one. You could even get up to SIX “luxury rares” in the same pack, this time around!)
