Our original and unique spray formula dries fast and offers a perfect matt and self-levelling finish, designed to respect and bring forth even the finest details of the models and miniatures. The colors are a perfect match to the equivalent shades available in our Game and Model Color ranges, so both painting techniques can be combined.
This formula acrylic colours with a satin finish, extra resistant and impact proof especially designed for airbrushing surfaces exposed to aggressive manipulation. The advanced formulation contains a revolutionary component which guarantees exceptional adherence on even the most difficult surfaces, and offers great resistance to rough handling, impact, friction, scratches, etc. Once dry, the Mecha surface looks the same as the original plastic of the model, while yet the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible. The colour range includes primers as well as special varnishes - also with an exclusive formulation- and a series of colours for aging and weathering effects.
It is recommended to apply the Mecha colours in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colours will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance.
Mecha Colour can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colours can also be applied by brush. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 - 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.
Mecha Colour is not flammable, and does not contain solvents.
Permanent, quick drying varnish and satin finish. Formula 100% acrylic with UV resistance. Can be apply with airbrush or varnishing brush. It is recommended to apply two coats of varnish, with an interval of at least 4 hours. Quick drying varnish can be diluted with water if desired.
Matt, transparent, high capillary acrylic fixer. Suitable for realistic fixation of sand and gravel on the surface of bases, dioramas, and vehicles. It can be applied directly on ground textures, with the help of a pipette or a dispenser. It can be diluted in a ratio of three parts fixer to one part Airbrush Thinner if necessary. Dries in 24 hours with a transparent matt finish, preserving the tones and textures used.
